Land and Water Rights
Many aspects of water and land rights and access litigation depend upon the nature and frequency of use and development of land, water, and other resources by property owners and others in the past. There are very few cases in which documents or witness testimony can provide the detailed or uncontested information -- including spatial locations of activities -- required.
Ebert & Associates specializes in using data extracted from historic aerial photographs, coupled with a knowledge of the interpretation of patterns of human land-use and agricultural behavior in the past and intensive ethnographic and field studies, to evaluate documentary evidence and witness testimony, and provide accurate spatial data that neither of those sources can.
